Wendy was born in Tibet and grew up in China. After completing her studies, she decided to go to Australia where she began working for American Express, sending her very first group tour to China in 1994. Realising that her expertise and business acumen combined with a relatively untapped market were the perfect match for success in this field, Wendy set up her own company in Australia in 1998.

Following great success, we have opened offices in the UK in 2004 and in the US in 2010. Together, we are going from strength to strength, delivering unique travel experiences to an expanding range of destinations.

Travel in Comfort
The transport selected as part of your tour is intended to combine convenience and comfort with an enjoyably authentic travel experience. You will benefit from our seat-and-a-half policy on our coaches, allowing you to watch incredible scenery in comfort. Our Group Tours are predominantly conducted using air conditioned coaches, internal flights, trains and various types of boat.

Tipping Made Easy
We handle the tipping so you don’t have to. We have a simple tipping system whereby all Group Tour passengers contribute to a kitty, paid to the National Escort, who then distributes it throughout the trip. Tipping is not included on any of our Private Tours or Stopovers, but we will suggest appropriate amounts.

Regional Flavour
Meals included in our tours are planned to give you a genuine taste of the regions we visit. We make sure that the food on our tours is safe, fresh, features minimal spice and includes plenty of vegetables. Breakfast is a combination of local and western food, usually served buffet style at the hotel you are staying in. Lunches and dinners consist of traditional cuisine and are served at reputable local restaurants. Highlights may include a dumpling dinner in Xian, Peking duck in Beijing, east meets west fusions in Hong Kong, mild green coconut curry in Thailand, fresh and zingy Vietnamese salads, and Laap – spicy marinated meat or fish in Laos.
